Digi Scrap That

The Haitian people have endured an unimagineable tragedy. Hit with the worst earthquake in 240 yrs, the magnitude 7.0 quake has killed hundreds of thousands of people.  This country will need aid for many, many years to come and we must all try to help them. Some of the designers at Deco-pages.com have created a beautiful album of 32 quick pages using Deb Ammerman’s kit Early Bird, which is a fun, refreshing, springtime kit. In addition there are also 2 mini kits included that coordinate with the other quick pages.

MY DECO-PAGES SHOP

My newest kit is bright, colorful and Springtime fun! Hard as I tried, I couldn’t come up with a name for it. Then my daughters, Kimmee and Kaylee came over and said “It’s like a Rainbow! You should call it Magic Rainbow!” So that is the name of my newest kit, which will be available in my Deco-pages store shortly.

There’s lots of beautiful elements to decorate your pages, from butterflies, to crochet flowers, real flowers, layered flowers, ribbons, buttons, beaded strings, leaves, swirls, tags, bows and lots more!  There are 12 lightly textured papers;  6 are lightly grunged solids and 6 are either polka dot or flowered.

Here’s a few layouts I did using the kit:

 My husband and I took the kids for a walk today. The dingy, dirty snowbanks we’ve all gotten used to were gone.  The soggy grass was beginning to dry out and perk up again. The sun was shining, birds chirping….  Thoughts of spring danced in my head like butterflies flitting about in the wind… Could it be? Could Spring be almost here?

WRONG! 

Nor’Easter expected to hit New England tomorrow afternoon and snow through till mid day Monday…. sigh..   Well, in hopes that Spring really is coming soon,  I’ve created a quickpage for you that reminds me of my two beautiful daughters, skipping down the road, hand in hand, laughing and giggling at the wonders of  Springtime..  Gosh, I can’t wait to see that again!
